I have encountered this. IIRC, my workaround was to download the Bullzip pdf printer install executable from their website and install that. I renamed the printer to the name I use, went in to the settings file and modified it to match the settings that I use. If that failed, I have had at least one success setting up the Microsoft print to pdf as an indirect printer and getting results. You're forced into explorer to locate and name the file, but it was better than nothing. You may know this already but Bullzip puts settings here: C:\users\user_name\appdata\roaming\PDF Writer
