Barb,

Attempted to try to run Comet2004Workstation.exe downloaded from your site and it won't run, giving me the same message "(C:\QINDOWS\SYSTEMS32\AUTOEXEC.NT. This file is unsuitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. 'Close to terminate the application)".

XP did not have the above file, so put a empty one with the above name. That didn't work either. It did find a file "C:\windows\repair\autoexec.nt" and a couple of files under the same name that had been backed up from a System Mechanic (C:\vcom\backup\mxv10nzv\autoexec.nt").

No other applications seem to be effected, and this first time have ever seen that error message on anything. Strange it wouldn't run the downloaded EXE file from Signature. Apparently the problem is with XP. Will try some other things before reinstalling XP

Thanks, Glenn
