So, do you think the issue is the 536 release? If you go back to 535 does that fix the problem? There were a lot of bug fixes in 536, it's very possible something was introduced there that is causing the issue.

Also, notably there is a release note for CFileSrv 18.1 that could possibly be related to your issue:

Eliminated a possible crash when a Comet user disconnected from the server unexpectedly. Some examples of
this might be if they logged out of Windows with Comet running, or the network connection was dropped, or
Comet crashed on the client machine.

Might be worth moving to 18.1 at least to see if that resolves it?
