I assisted in the design of and had a large part of the programming effort when it was initially conceived. Yes, old CFG files that have changed get cleared before re-creating the new one. If you change only
one, SYSGEN doesn't clear every last CFG it can find. Just the single one you changed, one-on-one. Take a look at your NODE section of your INI file and see if you've declared a path statement, such as:

Path = \\Win2003Server\C\Comet\;

This is a way for the user defining an INI file to set up multiple Comet startup points and place the CFG's anywhere they want. If this statement is missing, the default location is the current Comet startup directory. Hope this helps... Let me know...
