Comet Directories in a wide area network

My on site network guy is wanting to use the following format to access two folders on another network. He can access through windows but I can't through Sysgen. Has anyone done this or is it possible? There is no reference in the sysgen doc.

[DIRECTORIES]

01 = S ,\\SBSDAL\DATA\COMET98\REL\;
02 = S ,\\SBSDAL\DATA\COMET98\UTL\;
03 = S ,\\SBSDAL\DATA\COMET98\PAS\;
04 = S ,\\192.167.0.5\DPAC\L37
05 = S ,\\192.167.0.5\DPAC\C37

The above last two entries are the IP address to the server.
