Slaying At Local Meeting Concerns IT Industry

At a meeting on October 22 a Connecticut man was
Bludgeoned to death with a Qantel VT6 terminal.

According to witnesses the man had asked that Signature systems incorporate a Cobol interface into the IB compiler. Apparently this incensed Jim Guerber who had taken Neil Badger’s advice to drink beer at the meeting, to the point where he lost control.

Damage to the Qantel VT6 terminal is estimated to be in the thousands.

Police arrived and arrested Mr. Guerber who according to witnesses will plead his innocence based on the fact that Mr. Auerbach had a syntax error in his .INI file.

It was later discovered that Mr. Auerbach was also using an old release of the file system.

Legal sources suggest that these facts should absolve Mr. Guerber from any guilt.
