Hi Robert. When you select a font into a type 'W' printer COSP creates the font and then saves it until you close the printer. If you request the same EXACT font again then it will reuse the font it created earlier. Another way to improve performance is to minimize font changes. That is, try and do as much writing on the page as you can with a given font before switching. I'll put some debug code into COSP just to make sure the font caching mechanism is working properly. I'll send it to you soon for your testing.
