Hi Lou. Was Comet already running? If not, and you want CometEx to start Comet for you, then CometEx must be configured to auto-start Comet. Look in the CometEx View menu and select "Startup Settings". Configure it the same as you would a Comet shortcut.
1024 byte record files are created the same as any other Comet file.
