New Comet screen message

Upon updating our server to ServerProducts409, Rel0406, Utl0407, I now see this new link on the password screen for Comet saying:
"Info about the latest Comet update". What is the purpose of this link being located here? For our company we only want a few administrators to go to this info not the general company populaton which now see this message.
Can we remove this link from our screen?
