I've been using this routine so long, I've just done work arounds to deal. I do one of 2 things before transferring. Either go into windows explorer on the transfer-to system and clear the contents of the xfer folder, or I know that if I replace the qdir.cpy file on a subsequent transfer, qtility #32 only sees the files in the qdir.cpy. Any old files from a previous transfer will be ignored. Using TACCESS, i just make sure I transfer the qdir.cpy when I transfer my files and all works as mentioned before. Yes, there are a few more steps to remember, but it sure beats, at least as far as i'm concerned, needing to remember to do the qtility #13, add, and trusting my typing, plus it also gives me current dates and version info in the dircat instead of relying on the info that was in the qdir when the file was originally created.
