I need to transfer Comet Server to a different NT 4.0 server. Of course, with the version in use being so old, there is not much to be found on the installation or setup process that I have been able to locate. I need to have this done by December 1, 2004, so obviously I'm in a time crunch. I need to know what I need to do to transfer the server side of Comet over to a new machine.
It almost seems as easy as copying the database folders and the two application files over and then moving the dongle to the parallel port on the new server. I did find a comet.ini file that referenced the current server name that will have to be updated. Are there any other hidden files that need to be transferred? Does anything actually need to be installed from a setup file? Any assistance at all will be greatly appreciated.
