Since the Comet Explorer utilities are released in UTL, be sure you're running the 04.09 version of that. The version number is displayed on the QTILITY screen. The version number displayed on the QMONITOR screen is the version of REL.
Now, assuming that you are running the latest version, are you saying that you cannot access any CED-format file on any dir? You are getting the "Directory not accessed" error message when you double-click on the filename? And when you select the Maintenance utility you get the "Device Unavailable" error? If so, are you able to use the utility on non-CED files?
Sorry for all the questions, but I'm trying to clarify your posting. I assure you I can successfully access CED files on my system.
