RT_GetOSVersion2 is a procedure in coshipc.dll. It was changed to allow win98se versions to work correctly. My best guess (and it is only a guess) is that coshipc.dll was already loaded when either releasinv or running comet. the version that was released is dated 11/17/04 at 4:18 pm. Try running comet.exe again, and if that does not work, try re-installing the workstation after a clean re-boot.
