Hi Otto. This code doesn't show me how your program is organized/designed. I need to understand how the program is initialized: Is it using a dialog or are you placing controls directly onto the screen? In either case you don't want to change cosDlghDlg$ as it should be initialized at program startup and is expected to always contain a handle to the MAIN window (dialog or QCRT view). Which of the demo Comet programs did you use for a model? It would be a whole lot easier to understand if you'd use more subroutines to break up the large blocks of code.
