raw mode printing

We do a lot of printing to HP laser printers. We use the PCL command set to send codes to the printer to draw boxes & select fonts, etc. Of course, if the laser is not configured in sysgen to operate in raw mode, all we get is the actual codes in text format.

We got a new fax machine (Brother 5750e). We can print to it like an HP laesr printer (works perfectly), and we can also fax from it, by simply selecting the proper printer ("Brother Fax 5750e" is for printing to the printer, "Brother PC-Fax" is for faxing from your desktop windows apps). The PROBLEM is, if I operate in raw mode and send to "Brother PC-Fax", the faxing diealog box does not appear, and the job prints on the fax machine. If I operate in cooked mode, then the dialog box for faxing appears, however the fax comes out ast plain old text.

My question is, is there anyway to change from cooked mode to raw mode printing from withing the MTB program? Or, (even more remotely), does anyone know if there is a command you can send to this printer to invoke the faxing dialog box, in raw mode? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
