Can you add a "BreakPoint" statement to Internet Basic?
The syntax could be:
BREAKPOINT or
.BreakPoint or
.BP
BreakPoint would insert a breakpoint in the debug file when the debug option was enabled. If the debug option was not enabled the BreakPoint statement would do nothing.
As BreakPoint would not change the OBJ file there would be no reason to remove the BreakPoint statement before running the OBJ in a live environment.
It would surely make the debugger more useful and maybe more folks would be motivated to use it.
