CA Update Problem

I recently made a big jump from 2004 335 to 346, somewhere in between logic was added for the CA Automatic update. Every log-on gives the prompt to update the client.

When the update executes on the remote work station (dialog for download is displayed, Comet shuts down and restarts) we get a blank window. When you look at the host, it crashed with an internal error in COSH.

In our configuration the Comet Anywhere client is run from an application server not the work station, is there somewhere that we need to set up the path so CA Update knows where to put the application? Is there a simple way to disable the auto update until I can test and roll out again?
