Removed easyPDF and installed pdfFactory 3.31.
By default the pdfFactory viewer is launched when the document is completed. I found the Comet required settings in Properties/Advanced/PrintingDefaults. In the pdfFactory Dialog section, check "Do Not Show", and select AutoSave.
The problem, programs and utilites that use the default System Font 0 settings print in Arial. My default is Lucinda Console. Also tried setting Lucinda Console explictly for the pdfPrinter. Same result. Programs that set their own fonts and sizes (invoices and labels) seem to be OK.
