I have a series of applications that launch an ftp script (not created in comet), that I launch thru comet. Comet then waits for the presence of the file in the designated folder. The script goes to an ftp site and downloads it to a mapped drive & folder. In the example I am using, the path is s:\download\price\ and puts the file ptrans.ftp. On my computer, I have 2 hard drives - c and d. In order for me to create and test these different scenarios that will run at my client's site, I have a folder set up on my d: drive called sdrive. I have created a mapped drive mapping 's' to the folder d:\sdrive. Will be happy to provided you with any more info that you require. Just let me know.
