We are pleased to announce the latest round of features for our Comet 2005 users.
First, the immensely popular Comet Explorer is now available to Comet Anywhere clients! Imagine the convenience of being able to use these state-of-the-art utilities from remote sites.
And, because you asked for it, Comet Explorer's display is now faster and a new security enhancement gives the system administrator the ability to control by user's password who will be granted access to these powerful tools.
Second, we have simplified and improved the Comet Anywhere Client Update process and added the ability for you to enable or disable the automatic updates which occur when a difference in versions between the host and the remote is detected.
The minimum software levels required to use these features are:
Comet 2005.347,
Comet Serve 5.01,
REL 05.02, and
UTL 05.02
