This is a quick summary of the features in Comet 2005.
The list of added features for Comet 2005 is almost complete. We are now completing a performance enhancement to CFAM, as well as a few more surprises.
Comet 2005 marks an initiative that we have begun almost 2 years ago. -- All of our software will work over CometAnywhere -- whether text based or windows.
We have released a new set of utilities based on the Comet Explorer. These utilities should inspire you to experiment with windows programming yourself.
We have also added totally new printer functionality for Comet. You can now print to a PDF printer and create PDF documents.
We have added a new windows based document manager to augment the old spooler. This technology allows you to archive HTML/text/PDF documents in several flexibly configured archives, and provides a utility to print or view them.
In the next several days, look for a release of a printer driver that facilitates email of documents.
We are continually focused on providing more features in our product in order to make application development easier.
I look forward to receiving more and more suggestions from you for features we have not conceived yet.
