Like many of you I dabbled with XAP when it was first released but had no prospects that were interested and have since pretty well forgotten it. However now one of my clients wants to have an internal Web site where he maintains all the brochures from our suppliers that are not standard products. We maintain about 25,000 products in our master file which is transferred to all the branches every night. There would be al least 200,000 products which we need to keep tabs on but do not individually price. Can we, from within my invoicing program Enter the XAP program, check out the web site, get the non-standard product and then Exit back into my invoicing program thus saving the operator keying in all the product details ?
Hope someone can help me on this and if so I promise I will work thru the XAP tuitorial again before Vegas so I can ask some sensible questions over there.
