The KMD drivers were used for parallel plug security. Perhaps the best thing to do would be to remove the KMD drivers from the system. We have had problems in the past with Windows' uninistall process for them, so you'll have to do it manually. The files are:
CometVDM.sys
CometVDD.dll
CometKMD.sys
I believe you'll find them in the "System32" folder. I would recommend renaming them instead of deleting them. I would reboot after that. You may not find all 3. Just rename the ones you do find.
Then, depending on whether you're using a parallel plug or USB plug you may have to rerun the CometServerInstall. You'll know when you try to load Comet.
