Attached is a screen shot of the A/P Inquiry I developed from a combo of the "How to" programs and samples from Brian. I split my good ole Solutions NI into two parts. The new NI gathers options (235 lines, OBJ is 3780 bytes). NI10 creates the ListBox, selects and displays the A/P detail (548 lines, OBJ is 19,656 bytes). I display a PRINT and CLOSE button at the top. Clicking a button returns the program to NI. If PRINT was clicked, then I run the old NI2 program (no changes).
My customers really like the display as the entire transaction set is diplayed regardless of the number of transactions and the arrow and page keys make for fast manuevering in the window.
All this is display only. I'm going to try selecting from a list box at some time.
I still have some difficulties getting a perfect WYSIWYG. There are some Windows and Comet settings that seem to take precedence over the font and point size commands I issue.
Overall, at least now, it seems to have been worth the effort.
