Is Barbara suggesting I put two asterisks inside the .IF blocks? One to stop the listing and one to start it again? And does she think that they will have an effect only when the .IF is true? I'm not about to experiment.
And I wonder what the debugger does. If code sections are defined out will they appear in the debugger's source listing? Inquiring minds want to know.
Jim: .IF's were really useful when I tested my serial port program. I have no serial port license and no serial port device. With the .IF I could easily use the keyboard to enter data to test the rest of the program logic. Worked like a charm.
