Partner Steve installed some new Natural Language software on his PC
yesterday evening. UE started behaving differently today - coincidence??? I don't know. We un-installed and re-installed UE.
Ran IBInstall.EXE. UE behavior became normal. However, we've run into a roadblock with compiling. Steve was able to compile an existing program. He then asked me how to get the icon up on the toolbar for compiling. I did that. Since then compile does not work.
It quickly flashed C:\Program Files\UltraEdit\Console.exe /c .....
and then disappears with no compile. All looks good in the tool configurations. I tried my CAPI.DLL and CONSOLE.EXE. Still doesn't
work. When I compile my compile dialog box displays
Comet Utility Console - Version 1.04
Processing Command File: H:\Bigvol01\.... and compiles fine.
Any ideas as we're tearing our collectively thinning hair out. Tom.
