I have been using ultra-edit since it was announced and compile using the F7 key unless I need a print out. Then I go into IB and manually enter the prompts. While working on a project this morning, I was not sure that I had compiled a program after making a change. I went into IB and, since I did not need a listing, I entered the name of my source file name, which had the normal command lines at the heading that works when pressing the F7 key, and after the command lines were displayed, no compile takes place. Should it not? Does the command line prompt in ib only recognize the ced command lines? Using the latest everything ( c2005-354, rel 05.03.
