Honestly, I thought the "R" (for remote) server designation was obsolete. Please be more specific about the "Invalid License File" message you are receiving. The security server will pop one up when it first loads, but this is before you even attempt to load Comet. Thus the specification of the server would have no bearing on it. Are you running the security server as a service or attempting to have it start up with Comet? You should be running it as a service. If so, just look at its console before you try to load Comet and make sure you have licenses for all the products you expect.
