Clipbrd.exe only displays the text. The explanation we got from FMP was they ignore the type &Text since FMP supports any type of data (including binary) in a field.
In any other application the way that it is pasted when indicated as plain text is to ignore characters outside the normal ASCII range.
The problem as I see it is you are grabbing a large memory segment that includes more than the clipboard and simply overlaying x number of bytes of highlighted data on top.
If you examine the file I sent you will actually see part of a CODEX imbedded in the data.
This would be much more productive if you gave me a call so we can discuss.
