Hi Francisco. When UltraEdit performs a compile it must actually start a hidden Comet session which will be used to perform the actual compile. In order for UltraEdit to start the session, it must know where the Comet executables are located and what profile (if Comet is not running) and blind password (if required) to use. The startup information can be copied from your Comet desktop shortcut. The synchronization panel is required for remote work using CometAnywhere and should not be needed.
