A couple of year ago, I added a wallpaper to a couple of my programs and it worked beautifully. Then something was changed in the way Comet process the wallpaper and I lost all the background on my screen.
I use black text on white background ($0F) in my foreground colors (SF) and I use white text on blue background ($1F) in my background attribute (SB).
I use regular Comet I/Os using (SF) & (SB). The (SB) does not display. I rean some tests with color changes and found that the background color displayed only the foreground portion (the $0f in $1F).
I tried all possible combination of (TransparentColor) to no avail. This used to work until about a year and a half ago. I remember talking to Brian about it, but can't find the solution he gave me.
So how is this thing suppose to work? I am just trying to enhance my old programs by adding a little bitmap in the background. I don't want to start to recode all the programs to use COS.Controls.
