Why am I getting the message "Comet Explorer-System Error 12- Comet not connected"? Comet is up and running OK

Using latest Ver REL, C directories. and Comet 2005. Both Icon Properties Cosw.exe, and Comet.exe give same message.

A couple of versions back of REL gave me a message asking for a password.
