Some more info.
The problem also occurs with Comet 2004.
My shortcut runs Comet.exe. I changed to cosw.exe and the problem persisted.
I can run reporter and calculator when I click on the hyperlink. I can run CED from READY.
If I try to compile a program, the program compiles with zero errors, yet creates a sequential file instead of an object and gives a message CANNOT ACCESS OBJECT FILE - NO OBJECT CREATED.
My application runs fine locally. However, since I cannot access #XAPCTRL, in MAINT to change some settings, E-Comet is dead in the water.
I can run reporter and calculator when I click on the hyperlink.
