CFAM does not shut down on client

On a new machine (W2K) on the unload of the Comet client (605.354) the Comet Database Server Service does not terminate and stays resident in the tray. A subsequent restart of Comet will then generate Comet Startup Warning that the "CFAM" directories on the local machine can not be found (see attached log).
