Hi All,
Now that I'm running C2K5, I'm modifying my Comet Programs that Email
reports out. Previously, when using the HTML No Launch printer ( DES
HTMLNOL ), once I closed the printer an input on the (#) buffer returned the file name of the HTML doc with the report in it. Under Comet2K5, the input of the (#) buffer returns the full path to the file name. I have two questions with this:
1) What test do I employ in my programs to decide on how to parse the
buffer? I've seen Brian do some work with the sts(0) to determine a
COSW build number. Do I use that or is there a simpler means of determing if Comet2k5 is running?
2) Under Comet2K5 I'm printing out the value retrieved from the (#) buffer and it appears that extraneous info is appended to the path. I should be getting
C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\HTML717.htm and my actual result is
C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\HTML717.htmHENRY CALVIN FABTOM2000 where TOM2000 is
my profile name and HENRY CALVIN FABRICS is the name associated with
the SECURITY logon I'm using.
Tom.
