We previously had a very serious issue where files renamed during program execution failed under C-type directories with the message "CANNOT RENAME ACROSS DRIVES". Using a newly installed release (possibly a test one provided to Greg), this problem appears to be resolved -- one program that renamed files performed accurately multiple times. However, I got the same "CANNOT RENAME ..." error message when attempting to rename a file using the Comet Utility program (selection 3). Why does this happen? Does the QTILITY program handle file re-naming differently or should we still have fears that some application programs will fail when performing this function under C-type directories?
