By default, Comet installations that allow multiple users on a single machine share a single COSW.INI file. The problem we were trying to overcome is the requirement that users require read/write access to the Windows (WINNT) folder - a big security problem. Our intent was to provide system administrators a way to get COSW.INI out of the Windows (WINNT) folder due to these security concerns (an improved security model was supposed to be a feature associated with CFAM). Initially I put the COSW.INI file in a User Account folder but quickly realized that this breaks the "all users share COSW.INI" model. I then moved it to the "All Users" Account folder which is accessable to everyone. Now we have a new problem because apparently Citrix internally re-routes .INI file accesses to a special User Account folder which we know nothing about. Unfortunately the method I use to detect the presence of COSW.INI in the Windows (WINNT) folder does not get redirected by Citrix so to me there is no COSW.INI file and a new one was created - naturally in the "All Users" Account folder. As you are aware, we're working on a fix for this and hope to have the problem resolved soon.
