You can't use the debugger if the program you are testing (debugging) uses a printer!
OK. Not just any printer. Any printer with a DES program attached. The debugger goes off into the DES program and bang, you're out of the debugger.
Make yourself a dummy printer with no FFCLOSE, no PFONTx and you can test programs.
Nice to know. Wish I had known this one ream of paper ago.
