Setting Font Size in Windows Programming

Can anyone tell me how to set a font size before calling the cw.open routine in windows programming?

For example:

cw.font$='Courier New'
gosub CW.Open

I'd like to know how to set a 10 point or 12 point font for an object. Thanks!!
