In response to Grant's suggestion I emailed pdffactory and the reply was that they DO NOT support PCL.
At the moment the spooler allows for Forever Printing of documents with PCL's embedded, automatic archiving and reprinting of documents and the only thing missing is a search facility to extract sepcific documents from the archive. If you want to replace this with the PDF printer it should have at least these features available plus a search engine to extract documents archived.
I looked up GDI printing on the internet and wondered how that is implemented in a Comet program. Would you be able to provide me with some programming examples please.
