Since upgrading to 358, one of my customers has been getting periodic E30 (about 30 times in August) messages on a pair of printers. Sometimes they've gone a week without an E30. Both printers are at their sales counter being shared by a Win2K workstation (SalesL). Both printers are older, dot matrix set up as Generic Text and RAW. One has Invoice forms the other has Order forms. One is plugged into the parallel port and one is attached via a USB/Parallel adapter. The printers are not INOP to Windows and I can print the Windows Test Page.

SalesL is the primary PC at the sales counter and SalesR is the older, slower backup. Most of the E30's are from SalesL, but I have also seen the E30 from other workstations.

Both the Invoice and Order print programs open the printer, gather infomation (Order Number etc) and ACTIVATE the print overlay. The E30 happens in the print overlay. The printer seems to stay INOP until a line up print is done from the main program.
