The path is \\PAL00\COMET\REP\.
I moved all the files from REP to a temporary directory, not TMP ,and ran QDIRBLD. Took a while to process the 914K QDIR. To be sure, I ran QDIRBLD again and took the option to compress the QDIR down to 1K. Then I moved the files back.
So, another nevermind?
