(Document=...) mnemonic problems

Hi All,

We've put together a Document Imaging system, the first release being
based on using ODBC connectivity to a MySQL database and "reconstructing" the documents with the data from the tables. We are in the process of re-working the package to make use of the PDF printers available on CFAM directories.

For example, the new Picking Ticket program prints the Windows form to the Laser Printer. Once the forms have completed printing we perform a second print pass to the PDF printer making use of the (Document=...) mnemonic as per the documentation. I have encountered two problems that I will try to describe for you:
1) The second print pass for creating the PDF documents opens the PDF printer on a printer LUN and prints the document. When the document is finished I close the printer LUN to generate the (Document=...) copy and then continue to the next form after re-opening the printer.
If I do not include a PAUSE (18) for a second or two I get haphazard
results including a) A previous document showing up with the current
document number filename, and b) In the AutoSave folder, the documents
are showing up with _1, _2 suffixes on the same sequence number. If I
include a PAUSE (18) immediately after the printer close these problems go away.
2) Issuing the PRINT (LP) (Document=...) mnemonic seems to throw out
an extra (CR). All output printed after the PRINT (LP) (Document=...)
mnemonic are one line too low.

Thanks in advance, Tom.
