Slowly developing a dialog based menu system that will replace the old QCRT menus without disrupting the "keyboardablity" of the QCRT programs and allowing old programs to run with minimum changes until they are replaced with dialog versions.
While demoing to a customer, via CometAnywhere, I noticed that the cursor would disappear after I selected a program from the menu. The menu program has a (HideCursor) at the beginning and a (ShowCursor) just before the RUN of the selected program. The program (QCRT style) clears the screen, displays the background, displays the "Enter Cust #" prompt, and positions the cursor.
1. Development laptop - the cursor never disappers.
2. CometAnywhere inside my LAN - cursor is usually there, if not, I must click in the QCRT window (click on title bar does nothing) to restore it. With the cursor restored, I exit to the menu and reselect the program. The cursor is there. If I exit and return again the cursor is gone. That pattern repeats consistently.
3. CometAnywhere from the Internet - cursor is always gone. No alternating pattern as in #2.
