I had to shut down ftp access to signature.net today. Someone had an automated task running trying to log into the site as administrator. The traffic was filling up our system log because login failures were piling up at the rate of 5 - 10 a second!
You can still access our download folders and download files using http. For those of you who were using FTP, I am sorry, but we must keep our site secure. At some point in the future, I may turn on FTP again just to see if the hacker is still trying. If not, I may leave it on. I will notify you about that here on the forum.
