Horror !!!!

We are using a USB key on a Windows 2003 server. All Windows updates have been installed.

Today we did a log-off / log-in (this machine is configured for auto-login). And CRASH !! a Blue Sreen of Death !

It said:

+-------------------------------------------------------
| *** Hardware Malfunction
|
| Call your hardware vendor for support
|
| *** The system has halted ***
|
|

We hard-rebooted the system and tried again and again and again... sometime with the USB key sometimes without. What we found is that we could log off/log in many times if the Comet Services were NOT running.

System would boot ok with the key in and the CometServe services would start, but first attempt to log off/log in would crash the server.

I downloaded and ran the MarxProbe on this machine, everything is up-to-date and working properly.

This is on a CometServe32 5.10 USB driver 2.0.4.0929
This machine is a Dell PowerEdge 650 with an Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.40Ghz with 1.0GB of RAM running Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition Service Pack 1.
