Hi Joe. There are some special things you must do when using a window other than the main view window to display controls. The Comet windows development framework expects the view window to be the parent to your controls. When you use CreateWindowEx you must change the cosDlghDlg$ variable so that it contains the handle returned by CreateWindowEx. The program BigText.Ibs does just that. You can find it in the DMW folder. FYI - Like other companies, our products evolve over time as we learn ways to make them easier to use. With that in mind, you may find that developing your programs for Windows will be much easier if you try working with the Microsoft Visual Studio and dialog model outlined at the Las Vegas conference. If you'd like to discuss this further, please contact me directly and we can go over it.
