Both Jim and Robert have mentioned that they are using multi-screen systems. I have an old 19" CRT around here that would make a good second screen if I can find a way to get it near enough to my development laptop to be usable. Not to mention tempting a hernia lifting the monster.
The video card in my laptop has a fixed amount of video capability and the load between the two has to fit in the maximum. I can forsee where customers will want to have different resolutions and maybe color settings for each monitor. Running Excel and the like on the high resolution screen and running apps like Comet on the low resolution screen.
Up to now, my plan has been to determine the screen size using GetSystemMetrics and stick the name of the appropriate DLL (low, medium, or high resolution) in a SetGlobal variable.
Will there be a way to determine if Comet is running on a secondary screen and get its metrics?
