PDF Factory wrong files sent

Tom,

What you outline is true. after much testing we discovered what is going on.

If you tell PDF Factory to create unique file names, if there is a conflict with the name, it will append an underline and number to whatever file name it was given. It does not tell us (or we don't know how to get) the new file name. So we return the original file name to the program (or the email DES program) causing us to process the contents from an old file.

This is the default behavior of PDF Factory. You can change it by going to the printing preferences/settings tab and UN-check the "Always save to a unique file name" check box.

It is a bit unnerving that you and Stan Nelson should be working on the same problem on the same day!

Anyway, that is how you can get around the problem. We will try to find a way to determine if the file name was changed out from under us, but until then, use the above fix.
