Yes You are right. I reproduced this problem. The host did not GPF for me, but the file DID appear on the host not the client.
The key to this is that you must X out of the client session before the printer is closed and after the first line of output is printed.
This happens on both the text printer and on the HTML printer. It does not happen with the PDF printer.
